Nothing could be further than the truth, and this
story’s eventual truth has a stunning twist. Along the way, Gabriel and Dorinda
grow as characters. Gabriel's friend Avery is an engaging foil and the 18th Century historical detail, as
always with Ms. Morris’s books, is on point. You will surely enjoy this tale if
you like historical romance, or romance in general.
